An author website that does the business
I was honoured to have my website featured in “Ten More Author Websites that do the Business,” an article on The Writing Platform by Simon Appleby, Director of Bookswarm (the fabulous agency that designed and hosts my website). Simon has put together a list of websites that feature good content, design and functionality. As he says, “there is no single right way to do an author website well.” Regarding my site, he comments:

Simon makes an excellent suggestion, namely that I could be doing more to give interested readers a sense of when their craving for more Napoleon in America might be satisfied. I am happy to let you know that the sequel, Napoleon in Texas, is scheduled for publication in 2017. I’ll be talking more about that in the coming months.
