Shannon teams up with June 17th – The Night Before Waterloo film

A June 17th storyboard by Christine Chan
Shannon Selin and the makers of a wonderful new short film called June 17th – The Night Before Waterloo have teamed up to bring you both the film and Shannon’s novel Napoleon in America.
Every contributor to the June 17th Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign at the Associate Producer level or higher will receive an autographed copy of Napoleon in America as a bonus perk.
Just as Napoleon in America imagines what might have happened if Napoleon had escaped from St. Helena, June 17th imagines what was going through Napoleon’s mind the night before the Battle of Waterloo.
In the hills of Belgium in 1815, Napoleon prepares for his engagement with the two military powers rallying to force him off his throne. But can he see the human element in his bid for conquest?
That night, with the sound of the rain hitting the fabric of the small tent, he reminisces on what led him to the edge of the battlefield and what his ambitions have cost him.
